…as NAN chapel endorses team Grace Ike

The Managing Director of the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN), Alhaji Ali M Ali has thrown his weight behind women taking the lead, saying they have all it takes to deliver effective and efficient leadership.
Alhaji Ali stated to his when he received the One Voice New Era team, when the Grace Ike Campaign Council (GICC) train visited the reputable NAN Chapel earlier today.
This is just as NAN Chapel on Monday in a. emphatic and unequivocal manner endorsed Comrade Grace Ike as chairperson ahead of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Council election billed for December 4, 2024 at the Council Secretariat in Utako-Abuja.
NAN MD, a seasoned journalist and accomplished editor, who was excited about receiving Comrade Grace Ike and her team in his office, warmly remarked that he has heard a lot about her capacity and achievements and is not in doubt about her victory and performance as chairperson of the council. He was presented with the GICC campaign materials.
Speaking during the campaign tour to NAN in a tone exuding humility and confidence, Comrade Ike thanked the members of chapel for their unwavering support and assured she would not let them down but work tenaciously with her team in unison with members to change the narrative.
NAN chapel members on their part promised to turn out en-mass for the election and vote massively for Comrade Grace Ike as Chairperson, Comrade Yahaya Ndambabo as Vice Chairman, Comrade Jide Oyekunle as Secretary of Council and Comrade Sandra Udeike as Treasurer.
The campaign council during the tour made a symbolic presentation of campaign materials including posters, handbills, face-caps, t-shirts and brochures to the leadership of the chapel.
